Lip neutralisation is a specialized cosmetic tattooing treatment designed for individuals with dark or cool-toned lips who want a more even, warmer, and brighter tone. It’s especially popular among people with hyperpigmented lips due to genetics, smoking, or other causes.

Procedure Overview:
   1.    Consultation
Before your treatment, we start with a thorough consultation. We assess your natural lip tone, discuss your desired outcome, and choose the best pigment shade to neutralize any darkness or uneven color.
   2.    Numbing
A topical numbing cream is applied to ensure maximum comfort throughout the procedure. This usually takes about 20–30 minutes to take effect.
   3.    Color Correction / Neutralisation
Using a fine needle and a cosmetic tattoo machine, we implant warm-toned pigments into the lips to neutralize cooler or dark tones. This process can take 2 to 3 hours, depending on the depth of pigmentation and lip size.
   4.    Healing Process
   •    Day 1–3: Lips may feel tender, swollen, and appear bold in color.
   •    Day 4–7: Peeling begins. Do not pick at the flakes; let them fall off naturally.
   •    Week 2–4: Color may look faded or patchy as your lips are still healing beneath the surface.
   •    Week 5–6: The true healed color starts to show.
   5.    Top-Up Session (6–8 weeks later)
A touch-up is usually required to perfect the result. This allows us to make any necessary adjustments, add more color, or further neutralize any remaining dark areas. Depending on the depth of original pigmentation and  may need 2–3 sessions to achieve their desired result.

Important Aftercare Instructions:
   •    Avoid spicy foods, alcohol, and kissing for the first 3–5 days.
   •    Keep lips moisturized with the ointment provided.
   •    No makeup on the lips until fully healed.
   •    Avoid sun exposure and exfoliation during the healing period.

How Long Does It Last?

Lip neutralisation results can last between 2 to 3 years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and maintenance. Color will fade gradually over time.We recommend an annual booster session to maintain the vibrancy and freshness of the color.
